Moving Mauritius provides comprehensive relocation and business services for individuals and companies wishing to establish themselves in Mauritius. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Visa and permit application assistance (Occupation Permit, Premium Visa, Investor Visa, Golden Visa)
  • Company incorporation and business setup
  • Banking and financial services facilitation
  • Real estate and property services
  • Relocation and settlement support
  • Tax and accounting advisory
  • Legal and compliance services
  • Ongoing business support and administration

Client Responsibilities

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information in all applications, forms, and communications with us. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided and must promptly notify us of any changes.

Document Provision

You are responsible for providing all required documents in a timely manner. Delays in document provision may result in delays to your application or service delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or late submission of documents.

Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of Mauritius and your country of origin. You are responsible for ensuring you meet all eligibility criteria for the services you are requesting.

Communication

You agree to maintain regular communication with us and respond promptly to our requests for information, clarification, or action. Failure to respond within reasonable timeframes may impact service delivery.

Fees and Payment

Service Fees

Our service fees are outlined in our package descriptions and service agreements. All fees are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to change with prior notice.

Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by service and will be specified in your service agreement. Generally:

  • Initial consultation fees are payable in advance
  • Service fees may be structured as deposits, milestones, or full payment in advance
  • Government fees, third-party costs, and disbursements are additional to our service fees
  • Payment is typically required before work commences or at specified milestones

Third-Party Costs

You are responsible for all third-party costs, including but not limited to:

  • Government fees and processing charges
  • Legal fees and notarization costs
  • Translation and document certification
  • Bank charges and account opening fees
  • Real estate costs and property-related fees
  • Travel and accommodation expenses

Refund Policy

Fees paid for services already performed are non-refundable. If you cancel services before work commences, we may refund fees minus any costs already incurred and an administrative fee. Specific refund terms will be outlined in your service agreement.

Late Payment

Late payment may result in suspension of services and may incur interest charges as specified in your service agreement.

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

No Guarantee of Approval

While we use our expertise to prepare and submit applications professionally, we cannot guarantee that any visa, permit, or application will be approved by the relevant authorities. Approval decisions are made solely by government authorities based on their criteria and regulations.

Advisory Services

Our services include advisory and facilitation support. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice unless explicitly stated and provided by qualified legal professionals. You should seek independent legal advice for legal matters.

Processing Times

Estimated processing times are indicative only and based on typical timelines. Actual processing times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including government processing delays, additional documentation requirements, or changes in regulations.

Changes in Law or Policy

Immigration laws, regulations, and policies are subject to change. We are not liable for changes in law or policy that affect your application or eligibility. We will inform you of significant changes that come to our attention.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:

  • As required to provide our services (e.g., submitting to government authorities)
  • With your explicit consent
  • As required by law or legal process
  • To our service providers bound by confidentiality obligations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Termination

By You

You may terminate our services by providing written notice. You remain responsible for fees for services already performed and any costs incurred on your behalf.

By Us

We may terminate our services if:

  • You fail to pay fees when due
  • You fail to provide required information or documents
  • You provide false or misleading information
  • You engage in illegal activities or violate these Terms
  • Continuing the relationship would violate our legal or ethical obligations
  • There is a conflict of interest

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our communications, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Moving Mauritius or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy:

  • First, we encourage you to contact us to resolve the matter informally
  • If informal resolution fails, disputes should be resolved through mediation
  • If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Mauritius
  • The arbitration will be conducted in English
  • Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise

Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance

We are committed to preventing money laundering and terrorism financing. We conduct due diligence on all clients and may request additional information to verify your identity and the source of funds. We reserve the right to refuse service if we cannot complete satisfactory due diligence or if we have concerns about compliance.

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
